We offer a full range of agistment services
In addition to standing stallions and selling yearlings at the sales each year, we accommodate and care for clients' horses as though they were our own.Our agistment services include:
- resident broodmares
- part-time broodmares
- weanlings and yearlings
- spelling racehorses
Additional services include:
- foaling down
- weaning and handling
- yearling preparation
We only accept a limited number of resident broodmares as we are careful not to overstock our property and reduce the standard of service we provide. We wouldn't do it to our horses, so we wouldn't do it to yours.
Spelling racehorses are kept either in individual yards (all of which are irrigated throughout summer) or in small groups in larger paddocks. Again, our capacity to accept spellers is limited by our ability to provide the highest standard of service we can.
Mares who are due to foal are monitored 24 hours a day. We have a highly experienced Nightwatch person on duty throughout the season.
Our agistment services are certainly not the cheapest that can be found. However, we believe that anything less than the best is simply not good enough. Ours is not a business where corners can be cut.
