Red Ransom (USA) / Dancing Mirage (IRE)
Ouqba proved to be a talented and versatile galloper.
- Group winning son of Red Ransom (USA)
- Sprinter - Miler from a Machiavellian mare.
- Winner at 2 and 3 and Group 1 placed at 4.
"OUQBA was a very tough, athletic and consistent horse that possesses excellent conformation. He showed his class when he won the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot in convincing fashion as a 3 year old, showing a tremendous turn of foot.
He was only just beaten by an outstanding miler in Paco Boy in the Gr1 Lockinge Stakes as a 4 year old and his Timeform Annual rating of 122 at 3 and 4 years is an indication of his class and consistency.
He was very sound and had a really great attitude.
If he produces stock with his temperament and will to win, he will make a very decent stallion. As a son of leading sire Red Ransom out of a Machiavellian mare, he possesses the sire lines to make an ideal cross with Danehill blood"
